Just wondering about this prior to downloading and being disappointed. I want to be able to see the cropmarks when I have the camera up against my face.

Better luck with Ducktape, but its hard to upload to the viewfinder ;)
once you go raw you never go back

LOL -- You didn't specify which camera or how you are holding it up to your face but the crop marks only show on the LiveView screen. Think about it, if you're looking through the viewfinder of a single lens reflex it isn't an electronic viewfinder so there's really no way to superimpose anything. However, if you are using a viewing hood and the LCD for composing your shots then yeah, you'll see the crop marks.

Magic Lantern is for Canon DSLR's, if you're shooting video, optical viewfinder is blocked by the mirror anyway :P
So if you mean, you want to see on the screen/display, what you see is what you get, you're ok with Magic Lantern, there are settings in the menu that black out the parts on the screen that aren't recorded, like in 1:2.39 aspect ratio for example.
