Hello everyone.

Recently I bought a microphone pole. Unfortunately, although it was a known brand, I had to return it to the store.

The pole was advertised as a professional, but it turned out that it was not.

First of all, it creaked even when it was not completely spread.
The cable inside was flying, generating clicks.
The cable output from the pole was placed at the very end. It does not allow you to put the pole on the ground without damaging the cable.

It's probably enough to be unhappy :)

I am asking for the recommendation of poles, which are checked and do not have any defects I wrote about. The price has a second meaning.

I had a similar issue. Bought a "recommended" boompole and it came apart first time I tried it. Sent it back and got this one:

Haven't had much time with it yet but it seems it doesn't have the problems you're describing.

Thanx dfort for reply

That's how I heard a lot of good about k-tek. For now, this is the only interesting proposal I've found.

Has anyone ever tested this: Quickpole QX 580

It's a good solution but maybe better than k-tek.

The pole buys to the company, so the price is not the most important.

According to the B&H and Adorama websites that model is no longer available.
