follow focus with remote trigger

Will it be possible to use a trigger to do some follow focus trick?
Like half press the bottom, and pull the focus ring in one direction.
Press it second, then pull the focus constant direction.

it will be nice when use track or steadicam or rig. change focus with remote trigger.
My dream is bringing love and hope to the world with my videos. I don't think it is childish!
