Is it possible to limit the shutter speed?

Hello all,

I've been using ML for quite sometime. Just a basic user really, a few scripts, intervalometer, focus trap, basic stuff.

I'm now trying to see if I can limit the shutter speed somehow.

For example, I would like to have something like "Auto Shutter speed with limit enabled" - where the camera it self will calculate the shutter time, much like when in AV mode on a Canon camera.
However, I want to set a limit. Currently, my 7D will go to 30 seconds. But I would like to set a limit to go no higher than, lets say, 15 seconds, or 10 seconds, whatever. Something configurable would be ideal.

This way the camera will ramp ISO or AV, rather than shutter speed once it hits the limit of the shutter speed.

My main reason for this is timelapse photography. I have set my motion rigs to trigger every 16 seconds, lets say. For this to work, the camera can't take a picture longer than 15 seconds.

If anyone has any recommendations or other ideas, please do let me know.

Thanks in advance!
