No HDR still or movie

Today, I discovered that I now have no HDR options on the menu. Not for Stills and not for movies.
Also the 2.3 version never did let me compress the menu by pressing the menu button. I have reinstalled and all seems to be fine EXCEPT for these two issues.

Any ideas?

Read the user manual. THe "simple mode" has been replaced by the ability to hide every item in every menu
