24.00 fps

I'm new to ML so I already have problems understanding some of this stuff
Everything works great except FPS override. If i set it to exact frames : 24 why is after effects showing 23.976?
Do i have to interpret footage and set it to 24 or?

Yes you will have to interpret or conform the footage, same as shooting 60fps and conforming to 30fps for slo-mo. The QT container still believes that the footage is 24fps or whatever the setting is that you are overriding the FPS from.
