I'm very curious about how the 5d4 canon log (properly processed and captured) would fare against 5d3 raw in terms of dynamic range and resolution.
I tried searching for this, but most "youtubers" just bash canon nonstop, they just keep repeating the same things over and over.

The official video and others just scratch the surface, we don't have a real measurement yet, just the 12 stops that Canon officially claims.
This guy made a video related to what I wanted to know, but he was underexposing it. As far as I know and as Shane Hurlbut says, c-log should be overexposed a little bit, just like most logs. Not sure how it holds the highlights too, wanted to know that as well.

The hard part of looking about it, is that eoshd made a cinestyle like profile and called it c-log. Whenever you look into this, you'll run into this picture profile of his that has nothing to do with the canon log upgrade.

This other chinese dude made a real world test too, I can't understand chinese but it didn't look so good too.

Any of you tested it or have any opinions?
