Bulb timer and MLU

Hello ML-User!

Can anybody explain me how to use Bulb timer and MLU together? I've tried to use but i think i'm doing something wrog: MLU wil be enabled in the same moment in with Bulb timer starts. How can i enable MLU some moments earlier?
