Hi everyone,

don't know if im quite right here but anyways...

Today i noticed something I never noticed before.

All of my RAW-Files are, 5202 x 3465 Pixels in size
All of my JPG-Files are, 5184 x 3456 Pixels in size

Doesn't matter if they come out of Lightroom or directly from the Camera
and I'm wondering why?

Anybody knows?

On my 18MP 60D I can set the aspect ratio when shooting JPG. In RAW I can't. RAW shoots full APS-C sensor size thats why the photos sizes are larger. If I set aspect ratio to 16x9 in JPG mode which is then equivelent to 15MP the photo are smaller than RAW.

I can set aspect ratio to 1:1 in JPG mode and haven't compared this to RAW yet.
Magic Lantern v2.3 installed on both Canon 60D's with 17-85 & 10-22 & 18-250mm lenses. Canon EOS-M EOSM-FD adapter. Crazy about HDR timelapse photography, I'm experimenting with HDR video and use Sony Vegas Pro 12 video editor and Photomatix Pro

I can't set anything like this on my 600D
