Benchmarks show too slow card.. is it?
« on: July 14, 2017, 11:47:03 AM »
Hello there,
I'm new to forum, I've bought a 64gb lexar 1066 for my 5dmkii (latest night build) but the current speed is too slow for raw video (32mb/sec write 50bm/sec read according to ML benchmarks)
Is it a faulty card? Could it be a camera problem or something else?

thanks on advance,
K.

Set ML to defaults (Prefs -> Config Files). Restart. Load bench.mo only. Restart in photo mode. Redo test.
If results are below 70 MByte/s in write mode you should verify your results using a decent card reader connected to USB 3.0 (or anything else doing at least 70 MByte/s).
Windows: Use CrystalDiskmark
OS X/macOS: Blackmagic Disk Speed Test
