Sure is a silly thing, but in my Movie Menu I can't see the Movie REC key just below the REC/STBY notify.

Any idea? Thanks

Press the Menu button to check if it's hidden.

Many thanks Malcon.

The camera is a 5D MKII 2.1.2 ML 2.3. Which menu do you mean? The Movie ML? I gues it is hidden, but I don't know how to recover this option.

Open the ML menu and press the Menu button (the button on the back of your 5D that opens the standard Canon menu). This will show any function that has been hidden (hidden items are greyed out). You can toggle item visibility using the Set button.

Many thanks,

Solved problem!!! The reason I use the shutter release key is to trigger the record mode with a yungnuo single button of (three) multicamera shoots.
