In case someone is interested, I came across this today, that might be useful if one is trying to calibrate mechanical shutter action.

Hi Garry, I was thinking to order a shutter speed tester but not sure which one to take. Do you have any experience with any of these testers? I also found other testers on e bay and not sure which one would be better for rangefinders and SLR's shutter speed evaluation. Thank you, Gabe

Sorry: no experience. 'Just' saw the technology and thought some may find it useful.

Hi

Is it possible to calibrate the shutter time for the body? Because when I repair the shutter, the images can be dark at 1/8000s so it is needed to adjust the time for 1/8000s +-1/100000s for example. In other words one shutter blade needs to be delayed with a little time.
