Hi,

Is there a Magic Lantern raw post processing video tutorial for what is working best in May 6 2017?

I've found a lot of older video tutorials but I'm looking for the quickest and best way to post process
raw footage and edit in Adobe Premiere Pro cc 2017.

What's working best on a Mac?

What's your most efficient raw processing workflow?

I would appreciate it if someone could post a link to an up to date and helpful video tutorial.

Thanks,

Craig

I found an answer to my question with some digging.

I download the MLVFS http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=13152.0

And followed the instructions in this video on YouTube:

Davinci Resolve was free and was quite easy to work with.

It worked but it seems as if I am missing the detail or higher resolution look I was expecting.

Is there a different method for extracting more details and color from your video?

I really like the post processing from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRycHtgDcgU&t=211s

The videography and the location are top notch as well.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

It turns out all you need is the MLVFS converter and Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017.

You can use the new color editor in Premiere Pro to make adjustments to the raw DNG files.

I'm not sure if it would be better to make adjustments in Adobe Camera Raw first.

Any feedback on that?

Adobe Camera Raw vs editing in Adobe Premiere Pro?

If Adobe Camera Raw is better...

How do you export from Adobe Camera Raw into Premiere Pro?

Thanks

Only adjust white balance, exposure, sharpening, and noise reduction in ACR. Messing with contrast, blacks, highlights etc will cause flickering.
