Replace the Shockmount on the original Rode Videomic Pro with a Rycote Lyre

If you still got an original Rode Videomic Pro and the flimsy shock mount is getting quite weak and also annoying with the rubber popping off each time when you get it out of your camera bag, you can replace the shockmount with a proper Rycote lyre yourself which is cheaper than buying the brand new mic which only added the lyre mount.

I want to second this. After I saw Philip Bloom do this mod I followed suit about 3 years ago. The new mount works far better than the old and I recommend it.
