I'm new to ML use it only since 5 weeks have written here the 4th froum thread about increasing the resolution (I want the same res. as other people have with the same cam (eos 600D) other poeole have  been able to rec  1728x648 | 1600х600 / 14bit RAW atleast in 10 - 12 sec. rec time with 600D many poeple here gave me ideas but not instructions on How to use it for example benchmark it made the recording worse not better at the moment i can record 1344 x 756 with 11 to 12 sec with benchmark i been able to get 6-8 sec. only so i turned it of....

Please tell me How to use Benchmark....

i use an SD card wich is faster than the cam can handle and it is formated in exFat.
one of the example video used for my other Forum posts is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBnKyUWzF8k

Please give me rather a step by step instructions on how to set that up instead just of ideas....
(you know a tutorial like explaination)
the more specific the better i will be able to understand

There is no way to get 1728 record times that long on the 600d unless you use 10 bit and aspect ratios like 2.67:1 or something. Maybe those people used lower framerates to get 12 sec...

i tried 23.976 in canon mode as well in ML set both modes to 23.976 and i tried 25 also as well set both modes, i also tried 25 in canon and 24 in ML as well in any ways  i did not see a diffrent in rec time and yes in this video the guy did use 2 res settings the other was 1600х600 but even that is higher than what i can do... and someone even did with 600 d even in 1920 12sec so there must be a way there are plenty of videos on youtube of people who are doing it... and i'm using 10bit but some of other poeple doing it with 14bit atleast as they say... i just  want to push the limit...

about the apect ratio you may be right
1728 x 648 = 1119744

i in that case with my
1344 x 756 = 1016064

I am already higher in pixels as he is with
1600 х 600 = 960000

but if he uses 14bit and i use 10bit i should be able to push it still  further and in my other forum thread someone told me about the benchmark i just wanna know what that it can do and how to use it correctly without making things worse....

The benchmark simply measures the speed of the card, which on the 600d will probably be ~19MB/s.
To run it:
1. Enable the bench.mo module
2. Find the Benchmarks menu item in the Debug tab(icon with 1010)
3. In the benchmark submenu click on Card Benchmarks
4. Then click on Quick R/W Benchmark and leave the camera alone for a minute or two.
...at the end you'll have a read and a write speed
Then knowing the speed of the card you can calculate the record time:
bufferSize /  ( ((resolutionX * resolutionY * bitDepth * frameRate) / 8388608) - writeSpeed )
600d buffer is 104mb I think
... or use the calculator I wrote http://rawcalculator.bitballoon.com/calculator_desktop (others available)
