lcd brightness going up&down screen flickering

I remember an old post of someone having same issue but cannot find it....on 5d3 while lcd brightness is set to manual the level keeps moving up-down. removed battery ,cards reinstalled ML but nothing works...i havent made any changes to my settings and im with the same build since August '15. Anyone please?

I'm having exactly the same issue with my Canon 5d MkII. And it just started today... It doesn't matter if I set Screen Brightness to auto or manual, it flickers anyway. But... If I turn on the camera without CF Card, and get to the menu it doesn't flicker.. Then I have clean-formatted the card on windows and then no flicker at all. I'm quite sure it's a ML issue only. Please fix it, your software is so cool and useful that I cannot imagine my MKII without it!! =^P  Thanks!
