general questions about ML 2.3 ( 5d mark II)

i installed Magic Lantern 2.3 a few minutes ago and everything seems to work perfectly. But i never used modifications on my 5d - i just tried out the AJ 5.9 months ago. So i dont have experience at all.

1. i recognized that the 5d body heats up like never before ( the backside next to the display). is this normal?
core temp showed me 182 after maybe 10 minutes

2. i have a lot of cf-cards here, but no card is larger than 4 gb. now i am thinking about buying some 16, maybe 32 gb card. Can you recommend a certain card ? Do I have to install MJ on every card i am using? how can i handle this?
