magiclantern shooting underwater

underwater and outside by magic lantern
only the 3 first shots by gopro...!!

Wow very nice work. I saw many of my favourite species. I love coral diving, but never been to that area.
I wonder what options you have with the underwater housing. What are the focus and exposure options?

For the option underwater I had control of
iso, and shutter,iris  on shortcuts on the arrow
( by my sun changing the orig ML)
and all the back button of the housing
(not only the basket) of the 550d for this video....

Nice underwater footage. But especially liked the shots of the local peoples.

I just started a topic to document my progress with ML underwater over my next shoot in the Indian Ocean. Will be there for 3-6 months so let me know if I can test anything out!

I see that you say that Magic Lantern lets you change shutter and ISO. Not aperture, do you need a small iris to give you more depth of field? What distance must you pre-focus too?

There seemed to be a mixture of close ups and wide shots, that are hard to get all in focus. I wonder if you could use the ML Rack Focus to do pull focus underwater? That would be quite unique ;)
