Inverted Display Mode / Image effects on 700D

Dear Developers,

I would very appreciate to have an inverted or negative Display Option for the live view function of my 5d II and 700D.
The recent IOS for Iphone offer that Option as "Invert Colours".

Although already 'done', I did inject a request to ask one kind developer to add on an inversion that worked for a mirror loupe, i.e. Not just inverting the LCD top to bottom, but mirroring it as well

I run ML on 700D but failed to find "negative image" option.


I do not understund how to investigate DIGIC registers.
"Custom image effects found by investigating DIGIC registers:

Desaturate (lets you record grayscale with any picture style);
Negative image;
Swap U-V (red becomes blue);
Cartoon look (for this to work, set sharpness in your picture style to any nonzero value)."

Looks like image effects isn't enabled on the 700D:  https://builds.magiclantern.fm/features.html

Not sure why.  Looks like dfort spends some time to maintain the 700D port.  Perhaps post in the 700D thread for answers.

Investigating the digic registers is a reasonably easy task, although if you're new to ML it will probably involve fear.  There's some good info here with links to the things you need if you're really interested.

Don't feel left out, seems like most cameras don't have it including:

Looks like it should be working on the 5D2.212. Don't know what it would take to get it to work on the 700D.
