I know it doesn't shoot Raw, that it's not the most amazing camera around (even if GoPro can shoots some nice footages if you know how to use it).
But what excites me the most is the package; A GoPro 5 + a Drone for about 1200$ (in canada). I always dreamed about getting a GoPro for it's ability to be abused and a drone... well, because it's a drone.

I wanted to know your opinion on that drone, based on what we know so far, and if, according to you, there would be a better option in about the same price range?

The obvious answer is - take a look at the Phantom 4. Its camera can shoot with flat profiles (D-log is one).
The new DJI Mavic (probably the direct competitor to the Karma), from the reviews doest have the same image quality as the P4.

Finally went for a Dji P3 standard.
Since the karma is flawed and has already been recalled.

There is much confusion now about the state of Karma, it was first withdrawn from the market and then that decision was reversed.

There are many alternatives to Karma, including the DJI Phantom 4 or you can even make your own open drone.
