Over time Vimeo f**** up shadow and highlights

Have you noticed that Vimeo don't keep the grading linear over time? After some months of uploaded footage the highlights get overexposed and the blacks crushed.. I investigated this before but didn't come up with a answer.. any ideas from you people?

I've seen it on youtube, it is as if they Re-Compress the footage, especially if you don't get billions of views then they have no problem crushing your footage.
