Hi,  Does anyone know about the feasability of adding a setting to output a dummy (e.g. blue screen?) HDMI stream whilst in Live View mode on e.g. 5d Mark II and then pressing the shutter to take a till (at which point the Canon HDMi Out stream drops for 2-3 secs)?

The reason being that I am using a drone + 5d mark II + Amimon Connex air to ground radio HDMI link for stills photography, and whenever you take a picture in Live View mode (which I'm using to frame the picture when the drone is in the air) the HDMI stream cuts out, which then in turn knocks out the Connex air to ground link for 4-5 seconds, until the Canon HDMI stream comes back, and the Connex air and ground units also then handshake and reconnect again.  The total down time on the ground monitor therefore ends up being 8-9 seconds every time you take a still photo, which is quite a long time of not being able to see anything!

It would be great if there was a way to keep the Canon outputting some form dummy HDMI stream whilst it is taking the still in LiveView mode, at least so that the Amimon Connex air unit has something to transmit (albeit e.g. blue screen) and prevent that link from dropping too.

Is this at all possible?

Many Thanks
