Well, as you can see, in 4K view, pixels are not too damaged by the sampling, I think because in 3x crop mod, it's the true 1080p resolution from the middle of the sensor, but maybe i'm wrong ?

I only upscale in export with Resolve 12.5.
This could be interesting for my futurs productions, if clients insist for 4K.

cheers

Made with 5D mk III + Tokina 11 - 16mm 2.8

Great inspiration! Seems to work really well with the wide lens, and a f-stop around 5.6 or 8 (?). Little need to change focus. Do u use the greyscale preview mostly?
Bet your clients will be satisfied with this 4K ;)

I use ND filter for exterior shots (Kenko PL FADER ND3 - ND400) But mostly i'm at 4 - 5.6 - 6.3 f-stops
I dont use greyscale, with the 3x newcrop mod we can use a normal liveview, and no I still have not tried this rendering 4K with one client, but i will !

Do you have the files left? It would be nice to see the exact same video but in 1080p!?

The difference is not very impressive, but interesting if we don't want lose quality by compression in 1080p
