canon vs panasonic

been watching mlv raw videos and gh4/g7 videos on youtube and compairing both.

while the gh4/g7 beats mlv raw in resolution i feel gh4/g7 feels very "videoish" (not so cinematic)

is it the canon colours and organic feel of rawvideo that makes this? very hard to put a finger at.

could anyone explain? what do you think.
online everyone sais get the g7 or gh4, and that it owns the 5d3!

The GH4/G7 (dont forget the new king the GX80/GX85 with awesome 5 axis sensor stabilisation) have nice 4K image in small files sizes, nice codec, easily gradeble really flexible if your final resolution is 1080p
And it has nothing to compare with 5D raw. It's two different worlds.

For run and gun shooting you can bring the Panasonic cameras and you can get nice cinematic image if you grade them right.
If you have planned shooting, 5D raw can give you much more flexibility and more cinematic feeling.
The shallow depth of field makes the difference.

RAW is fun for the first couple of month, then you realise how much time and storage space consuming it can be.
Then you lower your standards ( :P ) and get a Panny
