4K video in 1:1 (crop_rec.mo)
« on: May 16, 2016, 12:32:57 AM »
Is it possible change position of crop mode for every second frame (as HDR video)?

In post processing:
left and righ frames could be converted to one panorama.

If you are asking about changing the offset in 3x3 pixel binning mode, I don't know how to do it. You may be able to find a register that does this with adtg_gui.

However, without heavy postprocessing (super-resolution algorithms), I'm afraid this will only be useful for static scenes (where you can just take a picture).

BTW, if you know how to do that postprocessing, you can simply shoot without a tripod. The camera shake will do pretty much the kind of shifting you are asking for.
