I am a travel photographer and it should be very useful for me rate photos (*-*****) on the field , without a notebook (during long transfer by train/bus/plane or in the tend), like on 5dIII or by the new firmware for 7d.
Maybe also add tags from an imported database , or develop the raw applying a picture style, crop/resize it for easy send it on the net in (usually very slow) internet points.

Thanks

What camera do you have? These features are already possible on the 60D and 600D (not 100% sure about the latter), except for tagging.

Partial dupe of my feature request here: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=1255.0

Tagging (image protect via shortcut) is working on 5D2 too in the bleeding edge.

Others not possible.

Ugh, so they put the rate button on the 5d3 for a reason :-( if you cannot automate the "protect" function. In this case, http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=1255.0 is obsolete, too.

Protect and Rate can be automated in all cameras that already have it in Canon menu. If Canon doesn't have Rate, ML can't implement it.

Ah, now I get it. So there might be hope for my feature request (http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=1255.0) at last, just now my index finger is aching because I rated a lot of pictures through the Canon menu (on 60d: Q -> down -> down -> right -> right -> [...] -> Q) ... Argh.
