[WOULD BREAK PHYSICS LAWS] 3D Video?

I had a thought, what if you set the recording mode of like HDR video where it takes 2 streams of video and meshes them together except the second one is on an offset to the right or left? Granted if you were taking 1080p footage you'd lose some video around the edges meaning you'd be forced to resize and use only 720p in your project from a 1080p video file.  Trim the video into 2 streams, put them side by side and maybe you could have 3D video.

Do you see where I'm getting at?

There's no way we can capture BOTH left and right eye views simultaneously. And without that, no 3D video
