I'm tired of that PINK HORROR and that's why i still use one of the 2014 Magic Lantern Build.
I've asked that same question but no one has yet answered the question.
Now we are two people i believe asking ALEX;
ALEX please answer us?

I am another one to report pink frames with global draw turned on.

5D3, trying both 1.1.3 and 1.2.3 and pink frames appear mainly when shooting 50fps.

Steps to reproduce, please.

Quote from: a1exI've ran some tests with MLV for about 45 minutes, trying to push it beyond limits (30/60fps, 3.5K, magic zoom or focus peaking while recording), but could not get a single pink frame or crash.

Just started with MLV on the 7D (6D works, no problems) and I see exactly the same as in the OP's video. What information is needed to find the source of this problem?

Settings used would be a good start. And card's specs and benchmark results.

43,6 MByte/s write rate required. Too close to the edge for this card IMO. Try lower data rate or faster card.

sgofferj

Will do. I also noticed something funny... When I connect an external monitor, I have dropped frames after a few secs. Without external monitor I don't. I can consistently reproduce that.
Edit: Is there an interface speed limit on the 7D like on the 6D? Or does it make sense to buy the fastest card I can find?

Will since everyone being posting comments Off topic that has nothing to do with the OP's 5D2 problem .
I try and help , One of the problems is Slow Card Write speed that produces corruption this can happen in 3Xcrop mode or 1:1
What are your Camera setting ? CF Card Speed & did you benchmark your card for stable speed.
What's the frame rate , did you use Frame over ride to lock the fps ?
What was the original frame resolution ?
FYI: 3xCrop mode defaults to 29.97 unless you use frame over ride to lock it to the 1:1 mode no mater if it's 24p or 25p
The 5D2 is limited about 79MB/s write speed  for short bust of about 500-600 frame , for continuous 100% duty cycle
72-74MB/s is the limit .
Reason I mention the frame rate I notice in the original Vimeo file it say 25fps and if you use a high frame resolution
you can get corruption like that. 5D2 is really limited to 23.976p @ 2048x872 (MLV) or 2048x930(.Raw ver1) in 3XCrop mode.
This is from my experiences with my 5D2 on ML for nearly 3 Years.
So I have seen this before many times , minimum CF card specification is 1000x for stable magic lantern.

Thanks for you replies

I'm using a Kingston 800x Cf card and shooting at 30fps in 3x crop mode , I can get stable results at 1312x710 with no pick flashes or dropped frames , which is about 50mb/s. If i go for a fast card say a 1000x or 1066x could i push the resolution up to nearer HD because 1312 seems to be my max..

Thanks

sorry for the late reply

Yes if you get some 1000x or 1066x CF cards , but Not at 30 FPS  24 or 25 FPS is the limit for stable ML raw @ HD or near HD
& in 3x Crop mode you will get 2k plus audio.
My 5D2 is my Money Tree ! I use it professionally @ 23.976 1856x928 (scales very nicely to Full HD 1080p) & 2k (2048x872)

You still can record @ 30p (but why would you , 30p is too digital looking IMO) at smaller frames , I think the last time I tried
with mlv I got 1600x800
