Hello!
I'm shooting with a 2x anamorphic lens on a 7D and trying to yield a 2.35:1 final aspect ratio.  I know I have to shoot raw to do this, but what aspect ratio do I change within the raw setting to achieve this?
Thanks!

Shoot 4:3 then crop in post.

Don't wanna crop? Do the maths with aspect ratio you need. :)

Can't / won't do the maths? Sell me your 2X anamorphic lens and with the money buy a 1.33X anamorphic lens, shoot 4:3 with it! :D

Here's the maths because I am a good guy:

E.G. 720 x 2.35 = 1692 ¦ 720 x 2 = 1480 ¦ 1692:1480 = 1.14

So in order to achieve a 2:35 Aspect Ratio with a 2X anamorphic lens you need to shoot at a resolution of 1.14:1

I still want your 2X anamorphic glass! :D

Thanks!!  Much appreciated and I may have to buy you one as a thank you!  They're actually not too expensive, mine was around $200 on eBay.

What adapter did you buy? I personally have a Kowa prominar 2x. It's ok. It is quite sharp, but it has this annoying halation when it get hit by strong lights. wish I had enough money to afford one LOMO *__*
