6D viewfinder electronic level button remap

Friends,
I'd like to use the viewfinder electronic level feature of my 6D, but Canon only lets me map that feature to the DOF preview button. And I can't map DOF preview to anything else. Grr! I'd like to have both of these features available at the same time. I see some comments about button maps in platform/6D.116/cfn.c, but I don't know if there's a way for ML to actually do a re-mapping to a feature that's not available by default.
Obviously this is a pretty low-priority request, but if it'd just be a few lines of code changed, I'd be eternally grateful.
