Hi,
ML is awesome but for my workflow it lacks 2 features known from prosumer camcorders:
- Mark clip. Actually, there is a protect/lock function but it's time consuming to go through all menus. It'd be awesome to have it as a shortcut or button
- Delete last clip. I'm shooting extreme sports so usually it takes many tries to have one good clip

Mark button seems more important to me. It doesn't look like something impossible to make and I believe many of you would actually use it.

Best regards,
Maciej

Hmmm, I thought there was a review delete function that taken out because it was a bit of a scary feature.

Renaming clips as a psuedo marker would be cool but I think that is not possible. But the ML metadata files that are made with each clip could be subconded for that I guess?
550D on ML-roids

1. Canon has "protect image" feature, which works for videos too. On cameras where it's possible, ML has shortcut key for this.

2. Press PLAY, press DELETE, confirm.

It looks like protect images shortcut is only available on 60D/600D. Is it possible to add it to other cameras? I'm using 550D.

I know but it's time consuming if there is a lot of action going on.

1. Partial success on 5D2, maybe in 2.4 will be possible.
2. Right, but such a shortcut also has a high degree of risk. You also need some button which you won't touch by mistake.
