I've shoot the dancer through a large piece of veil (stretched between two stands) to create a diffusion effect and be able to project the forest pictures on this surface.

Then I was able to project on the veil (before the dancer, and sometimes behind the dancer), and use the same photos / videos done in the forest, but in post....

But you're right, the "Dog Schidt Optiks" lenses are giving a very nice flare, sometimes hard to control, but a so caracteristic render !
I sometimes use un Helios 44-2 also for its flare, and its specific bokeh.
