I just installed the latest nightly build on my Canon 6D.  I'm using a Transcend 45mb/s 64 GB card.  I have it set to 24 f/s and I'm finding I can only record for 20 sec at 1280/720 and 1 min+ at 1152/648.  Is this normal?!  I've seen some videos on YouTube of my camera with a higher resolution.  The footage we plan to shoot will be used for a music video, so we'll need some long shots to edit, occasionally.  Any help would be great!

Also, do I have to shoot in RAW with ML or is just preferred for quality?

Without proper specification there is no way to tell how fast your card actually is. If it's a 300x: 45 MByte/s is for read only and write speed may be lower and not up to cam's limit (which is about 41 MByte/s). Benchmark your card using a decent USB 3.0 reader. And benchmark your card in cam: Debug tab -> Benchmarks -> Card R/W benchmark (5 min). Make sure to use photo mode and press Play button after benchmark starts.
Make sure to use ExFAT file system, too.

RAW vs. H.264 has been discussed a lot. If H.264 is sufficient for your needs there is no need to go RAW. Your take.
