Pray for Paris a short cinematic video about the acts of terrorism committed in Paris on November 13, 2015.
Filmed at night at the Place de la République as Parisians remembered those who were killed.
There are no spoken words in the film which leaves you with space to reflect upon this tragedy with your own thoughts and prayers as they watch the scenes of remembrance.

Magic Lantern RAW 14bit video.

Thanks for watching.

Thanks DeafEyeJedi.

Everything is 24p, very few shots 30p (conformed/slowed to 24 in post). 1250-1600ISO. Samyang 24mm, Tamron 24-70 and Nikon 105/2.5. Was rainy for switch lenses often.

A very beautiful tribute to the city of Paris and her inhabitants in their time of grief and sorrow. Being a Dane with only a relatively short travel distance to Paris I've been there on many occasions. My family had a French "foster girl" who visited every summer from 1955, when I was 2 years old to 1969, when she was married, and afterwards she and her husband and children came to Denmark whenever economy and time allowed.

Simone and Jean took me with them to Paris time and again from I was 16 years old. I speak French (Simone taught me, of course) and have many friends in Paris, and of course I told them all about your well-filmed and well-composed tribute to the Parisiens and to the families from all over the world, who lost a loved one.

You bring tears to my eyes. But you also bring hope, for the film also shows a community brought together to a new strength and a new spirit of solidarity.
