hey guys,
i am trying to get my head around why i am getting so much noise in my video even during day
running ML Nightly.2 on 5d3 with firmware 1.2.3

I shot the video on 1600x864
aspect ratio 1.85:1

and then fixed exposure in Lightroom and
then importing to After effects creating a new composition with 1280x720 with 16bit and exporting with
RENDER SETTING= Best Setting
OUTPUT= PRO RES 422

I have applied no noise reduction and there is visible noise in whites at 0.10sec (white roof)

i am still learning and trying to figure what i am doing wrong

Hi there.

At 00:10 looks like moire (on the garage's door). Looking at the .dng, I'm not seeing noise, but let me put my glasses on...

Cheers.

Might have to do with how the camera down-samples to that particular output resolution? Try shooting 1.85 @ 1920 width, I'll bet you get far less aliasing/moire.
