can turning up Jello mode in FPS Override do this?

Here's a cool video that is cleary post-processed to create this amazing rubber dancing man effect:



I just experimenting with FPS Override, and it sees to me so far that to get a degree of rubberiness, the ps has to be so low that the action has to be happenning very slowly. I hope that I'm wrong, as I'd love to see this effect work in-camera with ML. Am I just nuts?

Any other examples of ML slit scan I should look at? I've found scant few examples so far. WOuld love to reproduce the 2001 Time Tunnel, or the intro to 70s Doctor Who.
