@DeafEyeJedi
There is some problem with your 70D Footage. 2048 value of blacklevel is not enough. Didn't expect.
(edit) just remove "for @AWPStar"

P.s.
Now i can extract audio track. This feature will be implemented in new version. Maybe during playback.
MLVProducer. p.s. sorry for my bad english.

@AWPStar
Hi! Is it possible to add a possible correction hot\dead pixels?
Like here in MLVFS Bad pixel correction?

@arrinkiiii:

The 7D is currently locked up in a cabinet at work and the boss is out of town on vacation. In the meantime I'm actually searching on Craiglist to purchase a used 7D body for about $400 or less...

Would you (or anyone else) mind providing them until then?

I trie 2 weekes ago and they look very dark and with green kind of tint, maybe because of the black point.  Im in vacation only in august i will do it =)

dpjpandone

This is a great program, can you please add support for eosm pink dot removal in crop mode? The regular (non-crop) files are cleaning up perfect, but files shot in crop mode aren't working

AWPStar

@dpjpandone
Send me a sample pls(mlv-file). i'll try.
MLVProducer. p.s. sorry for my bad english.

dpjpandone

I uploaded an MLV file here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w2fmwwy244nc1df/M18-1437.MLV?dl=0

this file was shot at: 1792x1008 16:9 (the max resolution of EOS-M in 3x crop mode)

I hope you can use this, please let me know if there is anything I can do to help (different settings, etc.)

I really appreciate your hard work on this program. You are doing a fantastic job, I really love the interface! Thanks!

AWPStar

@dpjpandone
Can u make another one with a gray background and out of focus? I can cannot actually recognize pattern. i did it.
Is it maximum resolution ofr EOSM?
MLVProducer. p.s. sorry for my bad english.

Thank you AWPStar. You're too kind!

DeafEyeJedi

Way too kind now since I'm literally itching to get Windows somewhere on one of my systems just for the sake of this remarkable app... Great progress @AWPStar!

Very nice program! AND: it runs perfectly on OSX 10.6.8 using wine WITHOUT openGL graphic card! For me now the one and only working player for my system! Thank you!

@masc:

Does Wine work better than VMware?

Danne

@masc. How do you run it on your mac?

masc

I use WineSkin, install it inside, plus the visual basic libraries (installs semi automatically using winetricks, a part of wine). Thats all.

VMWare has less performance than Wine, because you are running than two operation systems at once. Therefor Wine is less compatible. But for this program, Wine is sufficient.
@DeafEyeJedi: yes.

DeafEyeJedi

Gotcha that makes sense & Thanks for pointing that out @masc!

Btw, how do you manage to install the Visual Basic Libraries via WineTricks?

Hi @masc

Could you tell more in detail how you did this?

I installed this. Where do I get visual basic libraries and how do I install the exe file?

masc

Thats the first step, what you have there. Click on "Update", than the wrapper installs. Now WineSkin is ready to work on your system.

Click on Create new blank wrapper. WineSkin builds a wrapper now. Install all you get in the following windows.

When ready you have an .app! So your Windows Program can look like a OSX .app. In this package, there is another app: a helping program. First time you click on your wrapper this opens automatically. Open this one.

Press on install software. "copy a folder inside", select it.

When pressing on "advanced", you'll get more buttons:
Under the first tab you can select your copied .exe, and config under associated extensions what happens when opening an .mlv with this app.

Under "Tools" you'll find "winetricks". There you search under dll for "Visual Basic 6 Runtime". Install it.

That should be all. MLV Producer runs than nearly like an native OSX application.

First time using it, it may be a little confusing. But really... it is very simple and runs with a lot of windows programs.
