My 6D does 1/4000 flash sync glitch?

 :o I was playing around with my flash (Metz 58 AF-2) today and as I was playing around with HSS! Long story short, was set to 1/180 and turned flash off, then set camera to 1/4000 and turned flash back on and it works with F18 and below with Auto ISO! Anyone else able to do this on other cameras and flashes?

I haven't had a chance to fiddle with other setting like the ISO or auto ettr but it seems quite usefull, just wish id tried this last friday! lol

It's not a glitch, every camera can do that and it is called high speed flash sync. More info on http://www.exposureguide.com/high-speed-sync-flash.htm
