Hi there! :D

Thank you for Magic Lantern and this magnificent forum :)

I own a Canon EOS 700D (Rebel T5i) and will use it for recording video.
With Magic Lantern, can I record video while having the on-camera flash staying on, acting as a light?
Is this possible for the flash/camera? I'd love to use the on-camera flash for lighting up the subject.

You may understand that I'm going from recording video with a cellphone, which allows the flash to stay on, to the beginner stage of mastering a DSLR :)

Looking forward to your answers!

Have a great day, and thank you in advance  :)

On camera flash is only for short flash, for short period of time. It's not an ordinary light bulb which can stay on.
For video you need some other lights, there are plenty out there, many can be placed on the hotshoe of your camera.
Search the internet for DSLR video lights.
