Basic Question

Hi

I'm new to Ml. What I have seen sofar is excellent but one thing bothers me and I do not know what is normal. I'm on th latest version of the nightly builds and 1.2.3 on my 5D Mark III.

I go to Live view, see the standard Canon screen, press the paper bin and get to the ML help screen. Pressing Start/Stop again get's me to the ML live view. Here I see the normal stuff in the bottom but also the latest menue item I was in. Turning the quick dial shows the other menues available in the screen. Is this normal?

Yes, very normal.

It allows you to see real time viewing while making whatever adjustments you may want/need to make within ML settings (kinda like prevents you from going back & forth between Liveview / Menu).

Pretty neat & yet useful, I would say...
