buy a 700d or a 70d

Hey Guys,

I wanna start making videos and i am watching the thread for the MagicLantern build on the 70d for 4 Months now. But i am not sure if the 70d it is worth the money compared to the 700d(400€ difference).

I have no experiences yet with magic lantern or film making(just watched some workshops). I also have no clue what i want to film but i like the "Devin Supertramp" movies if this helps...

My budget is about 1400€. I think the 18-135 STM should be good enough for the beginning. I also wanna buy a "Rode VideoMic Pro". I also have already a cheap steadycam (Tarion 60cm)

The 70d is about 1200€ and the 700d about 750-800€. VideoMicPro is about 160€

I don't know what all these things in the list above mean, but there are not a lot of checkmarks at audio and internals. Do i need this "missing" checkmarks/options?
The 70d is missing in this list . Are there already some things/features where the 700d is better than the 70d. Or features which will never work on the 70d compared to the 700d?

I hope you can give me some tipps or advices.

If your primary interest is video then chose a model with CF card slot (50D, 7D, 5D2, 5D3)
even a cheap 50D will have better continuous raw recording resolution compared to 700D / 70D. So rethink about it twice...
