Hi guys

First I want to mention that I really tried to search and get my head around the issue before making a new topic.

I have a 650D with a 10-22mm wide angle lens and it looks like magic lantern is cropping my video.
I'm shooting at 1280x720 16:9 in MLV.
I would like to frame my video to the full width to enjoy the benefits of a wide angle lens.
Is there any way to avoid this cropping issue with magic lantern ?

Thanks

Walter Schulz

You might want to tell something about your settings ...

Check out this calculator, it should help you understand what is going on:

Hi,

Thanks. I've checked this topic and the link http://rbrune.github.io/mlraw/
But I'm not sure what to do to have the full width. Especially how can I set up the subsampling in Magic lantern ?

Cheers

You can't get the full width unless you use the full resolution. If you want to use a smaller resolution, your only option is crop. This is a technical limitation of how raw video works.
