Set 30p in the Canon Menu with NSTC, That Simple.
There really no need to use PAL, as you can use "Frame Over Ride" to lock to any frame rate.
If I'm Not Mistaking The Base Timing is 30p and all frame rates are calculated from there .
PAL & NTSC is just for convenience.
