Record RAW Video on both cards (5DM3)
« on: June 29, 2015, 12:09:35 PM »
Is there a way to record RAW video on both cards simultaneously?

Let's say... first 16 frames on CF card and last 8 frames on SD card.  It s not the same, but it s like splitting a file on a SCSI architecture. If I'm not wrong, both cards are on separate buses so a regular 60MB/s CF + another regular 40MB/s SD card = 100MB/s?s

Sidenote: 5D3's SD-card interface is limited to about 21 MByte/s writing.

Those extra 21MB/s could make the difference in some scenarios.
