550D Won't Boot with ML Card, will boot Non ML Card

So I went out for a shoot and came back to review the files and the camera won't boot, it will boot if I remove the battery and switch to a non ML card. When I put the SD card in the computer it doesn't show any of the files I shot today. I reviewed a few while I was out so I know it was recording them.

Not really too worried about the card. I have NOT tried formatting it yet because I really need the files I shot today. Any help is appreciated.

Don't format your card! And don't write anything to card!
Use Photorec and try to recover your data.
