I know the raw2cdng able to make 16 bit files, and process twice large shots than the MLRawviewer.
Both of them are awesome, but I can't see any quality difference between them (the saved sequence).
Are there any, if so what are the main ones?

mainly we both (mlrawviewer/baldand & raw2cdng/me) convert to usable cdng's with as less as needed changes on sensordata. mlrawviewer has a better player (mine is just a scrub-tool to check the footage) and a direct convert-method to prores (dont know how good it is), my main purpose was still a clean and fast converter. mlrawviewer works on other platforms, i just wrote it for the win-os. all converters to cdng need at least 16 or 12bit-rewriting, because 14bit is quite uncommon in the videoworld. maybe baldand has a better verticalbanding-algorithm, my proxyfiles are only half the native size. i dont know, its up to you, what you like more :)
