50D Crop Mode ONLY Grayscale ?

Hey guys,

Im really sorry if this information can be found somewhere, but I already searched for about 2 hours now.

The Problem :

When I hit the record button in Crop mode  on my 50D, the screen immediatly turns grey while recording.
I guess this is the "grayscale" preview setting.
But even after choosing the "Canon" setting in the preview menu(menu --> raw video -->  preview --> Canon) Nothing changed.

I also own a 700D. When i choose "canon" as preview mode, I simply can record with the regular 5x Zoom liveview picture and not a gray one.

I'm not quite sure to be honest ThankMeLater. I would try different resolutions and aspect ratios, and try changing settings to narrow down what the problem is. You can always just format the card and keep Magic Lantern on it, unless you have it formatted ExFat. Please let me know if this problem persists. I'll try my best to help you out!
