Enable Debug Mode - analyze the HDMI EDID messages

Dear all,

I have some trouble with an external Monitor so I would like to see the diagnostic messages when I plug in the HDMI cable.

Q: Do I have to recompile the source with the debug switch turned on OR is there a module or a config option to enable debugging?

You can print all Canon's debug messages by compiling the dm-spy-experiments branch. These logs are huge though, so I recommend trying them outside LiveView (probably PLAY mode is best, since most Canon tasks are inactive).
