Shake & O-Rat

If your taking still shots aiservo off/on is not such an issue, so I assume video mode is your need. And for that Canon has a neat
button, just use the Flash button for movie-servo off/on.   I prefer ML screen to DSLR controller, as I use liveview with a 3X loupe, it retains fast touchscreen af, which I dont think DSLR controller is as fast (as I recall its been a while).  Focus peaks, zebras, and the ml screen are my preferred mode.

I cannot take full-resolution silent pictures. It say's "Full-resolution pictures only works with M (manual) photo mode", which I have. Even switch to manual/AF not works.

Lil' bit misleading but set your ISO to a manual value, too:

Delete ML directory, delete autoexec.bin and copy extracted build contents to card and retry. Load Silent.mo only. No other module.

Hello guys, especially nikfreak

I am using Linux Mint and EOS 70D, trying to get cr2hdr to run on my system, but I have no luck.

I copied cr2hdr.c to my system, tried to compile it but I receive errors. If I try to use it as C-Program by calling it from command line, I get the error "No camera model found with id 0x325"

Can anybody help me to use dual_ISO also on my system?

Nothing happens. Still same message about M mode (which I have).

Reset cam to factory defaults (including C.Fn settings).
Turn pic quality to RAW. Make sure to have
Autolight Optimizer OFF
both Noise Reduction features disabled.
Retry and report.

ServoAF Off Via ScreenTap is Unfortunately Not Avail' but there is a Slightly Clunky WorkAround > Press the FlashUp Button.

That is very helpful, thank you!

reinstalling new beta
« Reply #2236 on: January 22, 2016, 03:38:14 AM »
Hey guys, sorry for the dumb question but I'm just a little anxious. I have an earlier beta installed (August beta 1 I think) and want to switch to the newest version.

Do I need to do anything special when changing or just format the card and load it with the new version and perform a firmware update? I don't need to perform a factory reset to revert to the old firmware do I?

0. (Optional): Backup ML directory, autoexec.bin and *.FIR
1. (Recommended): Delete ML directory, autoexec.bin and *.FIR
2. (Mandatory): Copy extracted build contents to card

Insert card into cam and startup. Done. No need to reinstall anything else.

I'm confused as to if the dua ISO feature is working with the newest build? I see in the notes where they say this "Dualiso only works in photo mode" so how do I enable it? Thanks

I installed ML yesterday and it worked fine except the menu would keep returning to Live View after a few seconds if left untouched.

Today I can still see the menus, but the overlays aren't working. I have cycled through past the canon overlays, but the ML one is definitely not there anymore.

Restart.

Asking about 4k@24 on 70D is considered trolling at level 9000. Bandwidth required is about 9 times the number 70D can handle.

No problem to shoot 4k video. Its called time-lapse you can shoot raw even greater than 4k.
However fps is very low.  Check out the ML manual

Timelapse: intervalometer recording at very low FPS (down to 0.2 FPS), and "silent pictures" without shutter actuation.

Installed twice. Works for a day and then next day there are no overlays. tried restore ML defaults, no change.

EDIT: Cycled through overlays with info button, and there's nothing there.

Cant get MLV audio to work on the 70d

Hi
I have been using ML raw for a while on 5d 2.
Just put it my 70d, it all works fine except the mlv audio.
I have enabled the Mlv and the MLv audio modules, though when I import it in with MLV viewer there is no audio at all.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

The h264 video has audio.
I used the 2015dec22,70d111a

Thanks
Chris :)

I quickly recorded a video of a sunset today (no raw) and noticed the "record-time-left" indicator in the top right corner got confused and showed weird numbers.
Screenshot: http://pasteboard.co/13NTsXJ6.jpg
I was on beta 2b. Upgraded to beta-3 but encountered the same on beta-3.
Not a severe bug, but maybe there is a quick way to fix it.

Thanks for all the effort you put in this project!
