Hi,
After realizing there will not be any ML for 7D MK II in the near future I am turning to 70D.
Could anyone confirm the following feature, for photography, work in the 70D ML:

Intervalometer
Focus stacking
HDR bracketing
Dual ISO
Auto exposure
ETTR
BULB timer

Hello !

I come to you to see if you would not have any solution ...

After using Magic Lantern video a a few minutes my screen started to be purple ...

So I have :
- Restarted the Reflex
- Changed the battery
- Changed memory card (with and without ML)

but nothing ...

The screen works perfectly ( I can see the old photos) but when I take a new one : BLACK / LiveScreen is pink like the picture attached http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/7796391279012610208582411415961959463678o.jpg

Opinions ? Solutions ?

That looks like Dual-ISO ... be sure to have that turned OFF as you may have accidentally enabled ON -- it isn't supported in the 70D atm.

isn't dual-iso every other horizontal line? i've never seen any vertical distortion like that.

No i dont have any Dual ISO option activate.

Btw i have completly unistal ML but my screen is still Pink like that... Sensor Failure ?

That definitely looks like you are using one of the "test-builds" having FPS-Override turned on. Only seen that kind of mangled LCD colors with fps override.

Auto exposure         Appears to be Yes ~ Haven't used it

Hi, i´m a ML-Newbie. I installed the latest version of ML on my 70d. After i couldn't´find the sound-menu I activated the mlv_snd-module.
What I got was this error:

"Scanning modules ...
Load modules
i load: MLV_SND.MO
Linking ...
tcc error: undefined symbol 'mlv_rec_get_free.slot'
tcc error: undefined symbol 'mlv_rec_queue_block'
(...)
failed to link module

Is there a solution? cheers Dennis

Anybody in Canada want to buy my 70D with 18-135 IS STM lens? I'm not utilizing to the ML software (although it's very impressive) and I'm going to upgrade to the 80D or 7D MkII.

Hi, I have a 70D and i really love the video features on this camera, and with ML it is even more perfect, i just have 1 question. The cameras only "-" in video is that you cant change mic levels while recording and you cant monitor them... When i looked at ML i saw that this is possible with ML, but the 70D doesn't support it yet, so i was wondering if this is a something that is being developed now or are there other more important stuff to do?

@edgarst - common question, the answer is that none of the newer digic5 cameras have been able to have the audio features enabled. maybe someday but don't count on it.

what is the write limitation of the 70D, so i can determine the highest or maximum resolution for shooting?

I'd like to get 1920x1080, but if not that, i'd like to push to the limit that the camera can write.

if i'm not asking this question in the right (sub)forum, could you please tell me where i should post this?

70D max write speed is 40MB/s Full-HD is not possible. ShootMeAlready posted some good information on max resolution for continous shooting. You got to search this thread.

Example: 1280 * 720 * 14 * 24 / 8 = 38707200 Byte/s ~ About 37 MByte/s

Hi,

I am not able to see Focus confirm option under Magic Zoom ,i tried with different lens and modes .
I can see Trigger mode,Size ,Position,Magnification.
Am i missing any other setting?

MZ focus confirmation isn't supported on 70D and therefore the setting for it isn'T available, too. The property related to this function isn't available in 70D firmware. Guess that Canon handles Dual Pixel AF in some other way which requires detailed reverse engineering.
